Georgia: regulator approves 3.2 GW of new generation for OpenAI data center

The Georgia Public Utilities Commission has approved the contract between Georgia Power and OpenAI. The utility will develop 3.2 gigawatts of generation, for which OpenAI has committed to fully finance the infrastructure.
