HUMAN and Applied Intuition announce a nationwide rollout of physical AI in Saudi Arabia, starting with road freight transportation.
HUMAIN, the Saudi vehicle dedicated to artificial intelligence, and the American Applied Intuition have announced a strategic collaboration to deploy physical AI on a national scale. The first project is the autonomous truck: several thousand vehicles on the kingdom's main logistics corridors by 2030, which would make it the largest autonomous road transport network in the world.
The technical basis comes from Applied Intuition — its autonomous driving system, vehicle operating system and embedded intelligence bricks, already in service in the United States, Europe and Japan. The company is opening an office in Riyadh to support the program. No amount has been disclosed.
The two partners talk about a future expansion to robotaxis, ports, mining, manufacturing, agriculture and construction. "Thousands of autonomous trucks in service day and night can transform the speed, cost and capacity of our logistics network," says Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN. For Qasar Younis, co-founder and CEO of Applied Intuition, this is precisely the type of national deployment for which his platform was designed.
