Jensen Huang promises 70% growth to Nvidia next year, or nearly $680 billion

In front of Goldman Sachs investors, the head of Nvidia defended his forecast and brushed aside suspicions of circularity in his investments in his own customers.

Speaker at Goldman Sachs' Communacopia + Technology conference on September 10, 2026, Jensen Huang announced that Nvidia was aiming for a 70% growth in revenue over the next fiscal year. Compared to the approximately $400 billion this year, this would bring the manufacturer's annual revenues to about $680 billion.

To justify this figure, Huang insisted on the omnipresence of his chips: "Nvidia runs all the models. Absolutely every lab can use us", Anthropic, OpenAI and Google included. He cited the increase in sales of the system combining 36 Grace to 72 Blackwell GPU processors, up 27% month on month. It is also an opportunity to measure progress: a modern GPU configuration negotiates $8.5 million and absorbs 250,000 kilowatts, when the first cards sold $399.

When asked about criticisms of the circulation of his equity investments — Nvidia invests in companies that then buy him equipment — the manager replied in the tone of the joke: "We put $1 and $100 come back. He claims to have verified the existence of $100 billion in customer contracts before undertaking any investment. The context remains, however, that of a competition that is organised, between the home chips of Amazon, Microsoft and Google and the bets of young shoots like Cerebras or Etched.
