OpenAI is launching a professional agent integrated into ChatGPT, capable of gathering information from multiple applications to produce finished documents, spreadsheets or presentations.
OpenAI has unveiled ChatGPT Work, an agent powered by GPT-5.6 designed to perform complex tasks across a team's files and applications. The agent can gather context from multiple sources, remain active on a project for several hours if necessary, and turn a goal into a completed deliverable: document, spreadsheet, presentation, or report.
OpenAI simultaneously launched "Sites in ChatGPT" in public beta, which allows you to transform a work or an idea into an interactive site that can be shared by a simple link. This launch comes a few months after its competitor Anthropic strengthened its enterprise offer with Claude Cowork, an agent capable of planning and executing multi-step tasks autonomously.
