Buildcheck raises $12 million to use computer vision to review construction plans

The start-up applies visualisation models to working drawings to detect errors, omissions and coordination conflicts before work begins.

Buildcheck announced on September 9, 2026 a $12 million A series led by Telescope Partners, with the participation of WND Ventures, the investment vehicle of the manufacturer DPR Construction, and the reinvestment of Uncork Capital, Salt VC and Xfund. The round takes place nine months after a start of 5.9 million and brings the total raised to 18 million.

The company does not make a generative design: it aims at the much less spectacular stage of rereading the plans. His computer vision models read the execution documents and applied hundreds of automatic controls to detect errors, omissions and conflicts between trades that human rereading allowed. The company claims more than 110 customer organisations, promoters and general enterprises, and a return on investment of 10 to 35 times in the project preparation phase.

The funds must fund the expansion of the customer portfolio and four product extensions: custom controls, comparison of plan revisions, verification of compliance with standards and tools for economic optimization of works.
