Canada is developing new AI training programmes with Amii

Courses are aimed at students, teachers and the general public, with a new phase of reopening announced for 21 September.

In a page updated on September 10, the Canadian government details its AI literacy initiative with Amii. The student program includes a free three-hour course in both official languages, delivered by participating institutions.

From 21 September, new schools will be able to apply to join the consortium and teachers will be able to access the first chapter of their course. Other chapters are announced in the autumn. An offer for the general public is then to be disseminated via community partners, before a wider direct opening.
