Anthropic has committed to spend $45 billion to rent computing power from Nscale, on the flagship site that the British company is developing in West Virginia. The commitment spans six years and represents approximately 460 megawatts, equivalent to the instantaneous consumption of approximately 345,000 U.S. households.
