Claudeforce: Salesforce brings its CRM into Claude with 37 sales skills

The expanded partnership between Salesforce and Anthropic installs the data and CRM business rules inside Claude, and makes Claude the default Slack model.

Announced on August 26, 2026, Claudeforce is extending the alliance between Salesforce and Anthropic on a simple principle: rather than adding an assistant to the CRM, the CRM — its data, workflows, business rules and governance guardrails — is exposed inside Claude, where the sales people already work.

The first product to come out of this merger is called Salesforce in Claude: an extension delivered with 37 pre-built sales skills, designed jointly by the two companies. They cover the preparation of appointments, the health review of a deal or the update of the pipeline, with the possibility of triggering supervised actions without leaving the conversational interface. The extension is open to a few pilot customers, with a public beta announced for September 2026.

The deal goes beyond just that: Claude is to become Slack's default model, and the two companies promise further cross-integrations between their respective platforms.
