Backed by Greenko's founders, the Indian company is committing more than $8 billion to build 1 GW of leased computing, including a first 30 MW site to be delivered in early 2027.
AM Intelligence, an infrastructure company promoted by the founders of Indian energy group Greenko, has placed a firm order for approximately 9,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs, deployed as Vera Rubin NVL72 racked systems. The first tranche will occupy 30 MW in Hyderabad, with deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2027; the company claims to be one of Asia's first advanced computing clusters based on this platform.
The site is just the beginning: AM Intelligence is aiming for 200 MW in the short term and then about 1 GW of capacity sold in on-demand computing, divided between India, the United States, Finland and Malaysia, for an announced investment of more than $8 billion. The project is led by the group's president, Anil Chalamalasetty.
On the technical side, the installation must provide around 450 exaFLOPS of inference in NVFP4 format, the low-precision computing format introduced with Rubin, combined with HBM4 memory and a high-speed RoCE network. The commercial argument is based on the cost gap claimed by Nvidia on the token service compared to the Grace Blackwell generation.
