Contract review, regulatory monitoring, legal research: the sectoral version of Gemini Enterprise is coming in preview, backed by partner agents.
Unveiled on August 25, the legal version of Gemini Enterprise is available in preview, with Cleary Gottlieb, Freshfields, Weil and Williams & Connolly as early adopters. Google Cloud launched a version for financial services on the same day, and announced health and life sciences versions for the sequel.
The product is organized around four bricks. First of all, specialized skills — review and drafting of contracts, creation of playbooks, regulatory monitoring, legal research, processing of requests for access to personal data. Then MCP connectors, which are supposed to query the firm's existing systems without breaking the access controls in place: Workspace and Microsoft 365, iManage and NetDocuments for document management, Docusign, Everlaw and RelativityOne for ediscovery, Thomson Reuters HighQ or CourtListener for research.
Finally, there are the agents, in-house or third-party, and the ecosystem of partners that distributes them. Deloitte provides Contract Summarize Pro and Clause Guard, Harvey its legal reasoning engine, Eudia its compliance research, Solve Intelligence patent prior art, Legora a complete agentic environment. Accenture, KPMG, Devoteam and Factor Law are among the integrators responsible for deployment.
