The autonomous regional freight specialist is completing a Series D round led by Qatar's sovereign wealth fund and Koch Disruptive Technologies, with 85,000 fully driverless deliveries already completed.
Santa Clara-based Gatik has announced a $200 million Series D round, its largest to date. The round is co-led by the Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies, with Millennium Management, ARK Invest and Intact Private Capital — the latter having tripled its previous commitment.
The company is not targeting long-distance transport but high-frequency regional freight: repetitive shuttles between distribution centers and stores, for mass distribution, food and consumer goods. This shorter and more predictable window has allowed it to accumulate 85,000 orders delivered in fully autonomous mode, with an announced punctuality rate of 99% and more than $600 million in contracted revenue.

This is the argument that the sector is struggling to produce elsewhere: an autonomous activity already billed to real customers, rather than a technical demonstration waiting for an outlet.
