Fireworks AI raises $1.505 billion and reaches a valuation of $17.5 billion

The specialised inference platform has surpassed $1 billion in annualised revenue and processes more than 40,000 billion tokens a day.

Fireworks has announced a D-series of $1.505 billion, led by Atreides Management, Index Ventures and TCV, with the participation of Evantic Capital, Lightspeed, Nvidia, 20VC, Bessemer, Menlo Ventures and others. The transaction values the company $17.5 billion.

The tour coincides with the crossing of the billion dollars of annualized revenues, a figure multiplied by five in a year, and a volume of more than 40,000 billion tokens processed daily. The position of Fireworks is to transform generalist models into specialized systems trained on each customer's own data and then serve them on a large scale on its inference stack.

The funds must finance the extension of the computing infrastructure and the recruitment of engineers. The clients cited include Uber, Shopify, Doximity, Elastic, GitLab and MongoDB, as well as Harvey in the legal and code tool Cursor.
