Designed with about 30 organisations, the plugin helps associations to search for funding, write their files and guide the use of AI by their teams.
On October 26, Anthropic released a Claude for Nonprofits plugin, a set of skills and connectors developed with about 30 partner associations. It is installed automatically, at no extra cost, for verified non-profit organizations subscribed to the Team and Enterprise offers. More than 25,000 associations already use Claude, three-quarters of them with less than ten licenses.
Funding, recruitment and safeguards
The tool covers three uses. On the financing side, it looks for donors with supporting sources, analyses calls for projects, helps write proposals and reports and monitors donors. On the team side, it prepares campaigns, job offers, interview grids or welcome files for the members of the board of directors. Finally, a "responsible implementation" component maps where sensitive data is located (donors, grants, finances) and offers an internal policy auditor to whom employees can ask if a use of Claude is authorised.
In addition to the existing discounts, up to 75%, there is a discount of about 90% for associations in low- and middle-income countries, or $3 per user per month in the Team offer. Anthropic is also expanding its Claude Corps program, which places 1,000 volunteers in more than 400 U.S. associations, with firms such as Accenture, BCG, Deloitte and the Taproot Foundation.
