Faraday Future launches Nova, a small humanoid at $2,490 for developers and schools, and a child version at $299

The manufacturer of electric cars turns to robotics with two miniature humanoids, first passed to the dropper on invitation.

Faraday Future and its robotic structure FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem presented two small humanoids on October 15, 2026. The FF Nova, sold $2,490, measures 49.7 cm for 2.8 kg and has 20 degrees of freedom: it walks, salutes, rises alone after a fall and can be mounted on a wheeled base. It is ROS 2 compatible and trained with Nvidia's Isaac platform; A software package for developers costs another $390.

The Nova Mini, at $299, weighs less than one kilo and is intended for children from 8 years old, with block programming and an optional 16-session online course billed $499.

A careful launch

Marketing will take place in three phases, starting with 100 units reserved on invitation to developers and schools, 20 of which are immediately available; no date is given for an opening to the general public. Both companies present Nova as the first humanoid to incarnate AI sold less than $2,500 in the United States, an assertion that The Next Web said it could not verify. The robotic division, purchased by FF EAI for $200 million in shares, claims 817 units shipped at the end of September.
