This lightweight version of Seed 2.1 targets high-volume enterprise uses — agents, document processing — at about half the price of the Pro version.
ByteDance has made available Seed 2.1 Turbo, a faster and cheaper version of its Seed 2.1 Pro business model, maintaining the same capabilities: programming on complete project cycles, multi-step chains of agents with the use of tools, and multimodal text/image/video understanding.
Priced about half as much as the Pro version per token, Turbo targets teams running large volumes of API calls — agent pipelines, document or image processing — where cost and latency matter more than peak performance.
