Available in preview on iOS, Android and claude.ai for Pro and Max subscribers, Claude Duet sends a update every morning, monitors connected applications and performs tasks continuously.
Anthropic opens a search preview of Claude Duet, a separate application where Claude no longer just responds: he takes the initiative to report what deserves the user's attention, continues the tasks assigned even when the user has logged out, and asks for validation before any action is taken on his behalf. The tool is primarily aimed at professionals and small business owners who are overwhelmed with daily decisions. It runs on Claude Opus 5.5 and is included in the Pro and Max plans, with the same quotas as the rest of Claude, with access going through a waiting list.
A morning brief and tasks of all sizes
Every morning, Duet summarises the important elements identified in the connected applications, then only follows up with the user during the day when a decision is up to him. It can also be delegated the planning of meetings as well as the construction of dashboards, financial or commercial forecasts, and even the prototyping of web applications.
In terms of confidentiality, Anthropic accompanies it with a dedicated classifier and a security system instruction that examines each outgoing message: the most sensitive information, such as credit card numbers or identity documents, cannot be transmitted, while health or personal finance data is only sent on explicit instructions. The company promises to detail these safeguards in the coming days.
