Speaking to investors in San Francisco, Anthropic reported a roughly 50% increase in quarterly revenue and an adjusted operating margin of 11% in the run-up to its IPO.
According to the Financial Times and Bloomberg, Anthropic presented to investors, at a private meeting at its San Francisco headquarters, a turnover of $16.8 billion for the quarter ended at the end of September, an increase of about 50% over the previous quarter. The company claimed a positive cash flow and an operating margin of 11% in the third quarter, two indicators calculated on an adjusted basis that excludes certain costs.
These figures fall as Anthropic prepares an introduction to the stock exchange in November, after the US mid-term elections, with a target value of around $2,000 billion. They contrast with the net loss of 42 billion in 2025. The New York Times estimates that annualized income, already 65 billion earlier in the year, could reach 100 billion by the end of 2026.
