The financial planning software publisher, which has passed $100 million in recurring revenue, is relying on agents capable of building and executing forecasts from end to end.
Pigment, a Paris-based business planning start-up, has announced a $250 million Series E round at a valuation of $2.3 billion. The round is led by the Scaleup Europe Fund managed by EQT, with World Innovation Lab, its historical investors Greenoaks, ICONIQ, IVP and Meritech, and a planned stake from Nvidia. The company says it has exceeded $100 million in annual recurring revenue this year, doubling again year-on-year; it counts Unilever, Snowflake, Siemens, Anthropic and ElevenLabs among its customers.
Pigment says it delivered more than 50 AI functions in nine months, including an agent who builds planning models from real-language instructions. According to the company, 85% of new metrics created on its platform are now created by an agent. Next up is a planning agent responsible for leading end-to-end budget cycles, within the limits set by finance teams.
