The start-up promises to automatically close attack vectors by configuring the security tools already in place. In-Q-Tel and Microsoft’s fund are participating in this Series B round.
Reach Security has announced a Series B round of more than $50 million led by Top Tier Capital Partners, with Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, M12 (Microsoft's venture capital fund) and its existing investors. The company, whose number of customers has doubled in one year (Autodesk, Insurity and Ensemble Health Partners are among them), wants to accelerate its product development, integrations and growth internationally and with the US federal government.
Acting on controls rather than flaws
Reach's challenge: the challenge is no longer to discover vulnerabilities, which AI uncovers faster than can be corrected, but to react in time. Its platform identifies the truly achievable exposures, verifies that compensating controls are active and correctly placed, and then modifies the configuration of the security products that the organization already has. Changes deemed secure are made through ServiceNow, Jira or a pre-tested automation in an isolated environment.
The lift is accompanied by the launch of Reach Everywhere, which exposes this control health data via an API and an MCP server, so that other tools, including AI agents, rely on verified status rather than outdated inventories. A commissioned TAG Infosphere ROI study cites more than 160 hours saved each week for customers.
