Two weeks after a launch restricted to cybersecurity professionals, Google is making its Edge model available to developers, businesses and Pro and Ultra subscribers.
On 13 October, Google expanded access to Gemini 4 Argon, its most advanced model, until then confined to the Fairwind program for cyberdefense specialists. Developers can now call it via the Gemini API paylist in AI Studio and Android Studio; companies via Gemini for Business and Google Antigravity; the general public in the Gemini application and the IA mode of the search, provided they are Google AI Pro or Ultra subscribers. Researchers can obtain the highest level of Antigravity for six months over the course of applications at no cost.
A call price, then a doubling
The launch fee is set at $2 per million in entry and $10 in exit, with a 95% discount on cached entries. It will rise to $4 and $20 on November 30, 2026. Google puts forward a unified limit of one million tokens between input and output in the API, allowing answers of an unprecedented length for a model of that rank.
On the performance side, the company claims the first place on the Vals Index (finance, programming, law, taxation), 87% on an incarnate reasoning test and 57% on RareBench, dedicated to helping diagnose rare diseases. On safety, it announces less than 1% success in biological diversion attempts and 0.7% success in rapid injections.
