Cyera is acquiring Oasis Security for $1 billion to secure AI agents

The Israeli cybersecurity firm Cyera is acquiring Oasis Security, a specialist in non-human identity management, to manage the proliferation of AI agents within organisations.

Cybersecurity company Cyera announced the acquisition of Oasis Security, another Israeli company, for about $1 billion, paid mostly in cash and supplemented by Cyera shares. Oasis specializes in securing non-human identities, especially AI agents that multiply in business systems and must be granted controlled access permissions.

Cyera aims to create a unified data intelligence and identity intelligence platform, a direct response to the growing security risks posed by more and more autonomous agents handling sensitive data. The transaction, the third acquisition of Cyera in 2026, is expected to close in the third quarter subject to regulatory approval.
