Founded this year by Hu Han, former head of robotic modelling at Tencent, Winverse is reportedly raising tens of millions of dollars from DeepSeek and Long-Z (Meituan).
According to Bloomberg, taken over by The Next Web, DeepSeek has agreed to lead the first round of financing W inverse AI, a young Chinese company that develops robot software intelligence. The operation would cover several tens of millions of dollars for a valuation of about 400 million after investment; Long-Z, Meituan's investment arm, would also participate. Nothing is yet signed and amounts such as the list of investors can change.

The laboratory, about to raise at least $12 billion before a proposed rating in early 2027, ventured into a land where China dominated robot manufacturing, but where the Americans Skild AI and Physical Intelligence were already worth several billion.
