RegulaTutor links every educational decision to the learner’s documented history

Personalised tutoring establishes a clear link between observation, interpretation and teaching. RegulaTutor aims to provide long-term support rather than simply storing chat history.

RegulaTutor is based on work on self-regulated learning. It interprets the student's history according to cognitive, affective, metacognitive and motivational dimensions, and then builds pedagogical strategies related to the elements that justify them.

The PairRoute procedure distinguishes errors in the model from those in its framework and tests targeted corrections. The authors observe average progress in retrieving history, diagnosing the learner and judged pedagogical quality. These evaluations of the system do not yet demonstrate long-term learning gains in students.
