Seven months after its Series A funding round, the Zurich-based start-up has completed a Series B round led by Scale Venture Partners to accelerate its product development and expand its own computing infrastructure.
Namespace, a developer infrastructure start-up founded in Zurich in 2022 by Hugo Santos, a former senior engineer at Google, announces a $42 million Series B round. The round comes just seven months after its Series A, a sign of investors' appetite for everything that revolves around programming agents.
Scale Venture Partners is leading the operation, with 20VC, NEA, Essence and Burst Capital, as well as business angels including Olivier Pomel, CEO of Datadog. The company wants to position itself as the layer on which AI developers and agents compile, test and execute code faster; its customers include SpaceXAI, Ramp, Framer, ElevenLabs and Vanta.
The funds will be used to accelerate the development of the product and to expand the server park that Namespace operates itself.
