At BETT 2026, Google introduced a new Classroom app integrated with Gemini, with student notebooks and an engagement dashboard for schools.

At the 2026 edition of BETT, Google presented a new Classroom application integrated with Gemini, designed to help teachers in their daily tasks by relying directly on the real context of their class, in a secure way. On the student side, Google now offers generic study books as well as free training tests based on ACT and GRE exams.

The company also unveiled a redesign of the Classroom home page, which was thought to be an actionable dashboard: school managers visualize global engagement indicators, classroom-level information teachers, and students their upcoming deadlines and priorities. These announcements are in keeping with the new AI tools presented by Microsoft ahead of the ISTELive conference, in a context of increasing adoption of AI in teaching.
