YouTube is announcing more than thirty new features, including writing-directed editing and appearance protection that now combines voice and face.
YouTube has detailed more than thirty ads at its annual Made on YouTube event, distributed between creation, distribution, purchase and discovery. The most structuring is about editing: on Shorts and in the YouTube Create app, a conversational tool allows you to describe the desired cut or transformation rather than going for each operation by hand. The creator starts with a suggestion or his own instructions, gets a first montage, then continues the exchange to remove silences, reorder sequences or adjust the rhythm.
The protection of appearance comes out of the office: enrolment, correspondence alerts and actions to be taken become accessible from a telephone. The platform also announces a combination of face detection and spoken voice detection to improve the accuracy of correspondence, laying the basis for broader voice protections.
Studio and personalized reception
YouTube Studio is repositioned as an end-to-end assistant: personalized feedback on the first montages, generation of miniatures aligned with the channel's graphic identity, and A/B tests to compare up to three versions of the same video to see which one has the best attention. On the spectators' side, it will become possible to compose one's own welcome wire by written instructions depending on the mood or focus of the moment, and to keep several of them, updated automatically.
