The New York-based startup has announced a $60 million Series B round led by Battery Ventures and is activating Warp Agent, which processes registrations, payroll, and benefits without being asked.
Warp announced on September 25, 2026 that it had raised 85 million dollars in less than a year, including a series B of 60 million led by Battery Ventures, with Peak XV, Sapphire, Sound Ventures, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Homebrew and the founders of Shopify, Dropbox, Replit and Cruise at the round table. Founded in 2023 and based in New York, the company builds a human resources management platform originally designed around agents.
The announcement is accompanied by the launch of Warp Agent, presented as version 2.0. The agent is responsible for the integration of new employees, registration with US states, tax compliance, pay and benefits, without waiting for instruction; It also answers employees' questions about their pay and internal rules. The tasks that it cannot unblock are transferred to human experts, a routing that avoids basing compliance on the model's autonomy alone.
Warp is advancing revenue growth of 700% over a year, $200 million in tax penalties avoided to its clients and a trajectory beyond $2 billion in payroll processed this year.
