Figure AI achieves a production rate of one humanoid robot per hour

Figure AI’s BotQ factory has gone from producing one robot a day to one robot an hour in less than four months – a 24-fold increase that is set to result in 100,000 units being produced in four years.

Figure AI reported a dramatic acceleration in the production of its humanoid robot Figure 03 in its dedicated BotQ factory in California: the rate has increased from one robot per day to one robot per hour in less than four months, a 24-fold increase. The first generation production line has a capacity of 12,000 robots per year, with a cumulative target of 100,000 units over four years.

To reach this scale, the company had to build a completely new supply chain and manufacturing processes, organized into assembly lines dedicated to each subsystem of the robot and coordinated by a home-made software distributed over more than 150 connected workstations.
